Gina K Butterfly Slimline Card

I'm excited to bring you this beautiful Gina K. designs butterfly slimline card for the DCC hop this month. I love making slimline cards because they are a different shape and there is more room for stamping and color.

I used the stamp set Never Lose Hope with the Watercolor Floral ephemera to make this card.

The background has a butterfly and sentiments embossed with embossing glaze to create a resist effect. Then I used watercolor sparkle ink to provide the bright and cheerful background.

I really like using stamps with coordinating ephemera to make cards. It is a nice way to layer and create more dimension and visual interest. These products work so well together.
