Day 15 prompt tape
Here is my completed project. I love it.
Day 5. I didn't get to finish today. Fridays are our family night / date nights. We spend time and do stuff with the kids and after bedtime my 16 year old watches them while we go out for date night. Self-care comes in many forms and this one is important for me. BUT, I have everything ready to work on tomorrow morning before my kids wake up.
My take away from this challenge is just to have fun, experiment with mediums, if you don't like something you can always cover it up.....and it only takes a few minutes a day to create something beautiful.
I will post my pic once everything is completed tomorrow!
Day 5. I finished my project with a collection of bits and pieces from on my desk! And then some gold splatters!
My take away from this class....a few minutes every day and a completed project...a sense of accomplishment!! This was so much fun, thank you Kassy!!!
Day 5 completed project my greatest take away is to just dive in and start anywhere and enjoy the journey on the way to completion (although is there really completion as sometimes it can just be a starting point onto something else)
Day 5
AJAdventurers & JG this one’s for you!!!
My biggest takeaway is I can have fun creating cool stuff without overthinking or spending a ton of time.
Day 5! We made it! I hope you had as much fun as I did this week. Join me tomorrow morning to find out if you are the winner ! What I took away from this challenge is that while we have different styles of art and approaches to art, we often have similar issues and struggles. AND we ALL have 10 minutes in our day to be creative and make ourselves a priority. I am so proud of each of you for making yourself a priority this week and sticking with me. You are all amazing and I love you.
Day 5 of our daily challenge. So much funThank you Kass! I learned that it’s ok to start putting down texture or color. (don’t over think it,) my project will evolve. And at the end it will be amazing. (At lest to me)😊😊
Day 5. This was so much fun. I challenge myself every morning for 10 minutes. I craft through the day but for 1 project I only spend 10 minutes. What i got out of this challenge is that I don't need to stress and find time to do art. I can spend as little or as much time as I want
Excellent! So perfect. I loved your takeaway and project. So great that you are going to keep going with it.
Daily creative practice day 4 added gesso, triangles showing design I seem to craft more in the pm also my challenging supply is embossing powder as it never seem to turn out on first try
Day 4. I used a flower shape and painted white acrylic paint around it. Debating a second coat, but kinda like the soft color showing in the background.
I tend to avoid spray inks because I can never seem to use the correct pressure and usually overspray and make a mess! During the winter I was spending five minutes in my craft room (usually practicing with watercolors) before work...really early. It started my day off on a happy note! Now I craft more at night.
This is really delicate and lovely! I love that you made time to practice. 💖
Day 3. I used a piece of white tissue that had some gold paint on it, and stamped on the tissue before adding it to my canvas. Sorry, I missed Wednesday and Thursday's live...I was out of town.
Lately, I've been using watercolors and stencils and then cutting the shapes out to use for future journal pages! I do this alot when I don't know what to make.
Day 4. Surprise....I used my silhouette cameo to cut out my shape lol. And I used a milky white paint. I love it.
My least favorite art supply...well maybe least favorite is not the right phrase....my most challenging art supply is embossing powder. I never heat it right...always too much or too little. But I want to love using it and I have tons of it...and I keep trying regardless.
I love this Robin!
